Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging (now Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging), along with its partner the American Health Quality Foundation (AHQF), acts as an equal partner in the development and operation of the National Consumer Protection Technical Resource Center (The Center) to provide technical assistance, resources, information, and support to 57 Senior Medicare Patrol Projects (SMPs) nationwide. The goal of the Center is to serve as a resource of technical assistance and support for Senior Medicare Patrol grantees and projects to maximize SMP’s effectiveness. The Center is dedicated to its goal. Thus, the Center acknowledges its facilitative, informative, and catalytic role in the success of SMP projects.
