To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the SMP program, the SMP created a national week, this year June 5-11, focused on Medicare fraud prevention. Everyone plays a part in the fight against fraud. There are specific steps beneficiaries, caregivers, families, partners and professionals, health care providers, and community members can take. Read a story from the National Council on Aging and check out the SMP’s Medicare Fraud Prevention week materials.
