The SMP Resource Center partners with a wide range of federal agencies, non-profit organizations, associations, and law enforcement who share our goal of educating and empowering Medicare beneficiaries, caregivers, and others to prevent, detect, and report Medicare fraud.

ACL was created around the fundamental principle that older adults and people of all ages with disabilities should be able to live where they choose, with the people they choose, and with the ability to participate fully in their communities.

By funding services and supports provided primarily by networks of community-based organizations, and with investments in research, education, and innovation, ACL helps make this principle a reality for millions of Americans.

CMA is a national, non-profit, law organization that works to advance access to comprehensive Medicare coverage, health equity, and quality health care for older people and people with disabilities. Their mission is to advance access to comprehensive Medicare coverage, health equity, and quality health care for older people and people with disabilities by providing exceptional legal analysis, education, and advocacy.

The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud unites and empowers private and public groups to fight insurance fraud through outreach, advocacy and research.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a 21st century agency that implements and enforces Federal consumer financial law and ensures that markets for consumer financial products are transparent, fair, and competitive.

The Department of Justice upholds the rule of law to keep our country safe and to protect civil rights.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation protects American people and upholds the Constitution of the United States.

The Federal Trade Commission protects the public from deceptive or unfair business practices and from unfair methods of competition through law enforcement, advocacy, research, and education.

Justice in Aging is a national organization that uses the power of law to fight senior poverty by securing access to affordable health care, economic security, and the courts for older adults with limited resources.

Medicaid provides health coverage to millions of Americans, including eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities.  Medicaid is administered by states, according to federal requirements.

Medicare is administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). It is the federal agency that provides health coverage to more than 160 million people through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and the Health Insurance Marketplace. CMS works in partnership with the entire health care community to improve quality, equity, and outcomes in the health care system.

The Medicare Rights Center (MRC) is a national, non-profit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs, and public policy initiatives.

The National Caregiver Alliance catalyzes system change to build health, wellness, and financial security for all family caregivers through research, policy, and narrative change. They envision a future where family caregivers thrive because caregiving is sustainable, equitable, and dignified.

The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) provides the latest information and resources on research, training, policy, and best practices on preventing and responding to elder mistreatment.

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) delivers the resources, tools, best practices, and advocacy our nation needs to ensure that every person can age with health and economic well-being.

The National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association protects and serves the public interest by increasing awareness and improving the detection, investigation, civil and criminal prosecution, and prevention of health care fraud and abuse.

The National Indian Council on Aging, Inc. (NICOA) is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to advocate for improved comprehensive health, social services and economic well-being for American Indian and Alaska Native elders.

The National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center (NORC) provides support, technical assistance, and training to the 53 State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs and their statewide networks. They also provide a consumer website the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care.

Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP is a social impact organization with a mission to “harness the power of technology to change the way we age.” They aim to empower older adults with the tools and training necessary to take advantage of today’s technology and use it to enrich their lives. Through its flagship program, Senior Planet from AARP, OATS works closely with older adults to create extraordinary experiences in-person and online.

Social Security has provided financial protection for our nation's people for nearly 90 years.  With retirement, disability, and survivor benefits, Social Security is one of the most successful anti-poverty programs in our nation's history. They are committed to helping maintain the basic well-being and protection of the people they serve and providing secure access to the information people need when, where, and how it is needed.

The nation’s 54 State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs) provide local, in-depth, and objective insurance counseling and assistance to Medicare-eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) provides objective oversight to promote the economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of HHS programs, as well as the health and welfare of the people they serve. Most of the agency’s resources go towards the oversight of Medicare and Medicaid — programs that represent a significant part of the Federal budget and that affect this country's most vulnerable citizens.
