A federal jury has convicted nurse John Dubor of conspiracy to commit health care fraud, six counts of health care fraud, and conspiracy to violate the anti-kickback statute. He owned and operated Care Committers Health Services and billed for home health services for which beneficiaries did not qualify and/or did not receive. He also falsified patient assessment forms to make beneficiaries appear sicker to receive higher reimbursement rates. To read a Department of Justice press release, click here.
