The settlement resolves claims that Orange Medical Care P.C. and its owners, Dr. Ashikkumar A. Raval and Dr. Manish A. Raval, fraudulently billed Medicare and Medicaid by submitting claims for primary care services that were not rendered or supervised by the physician identified in the claim for payment and had, in fact, been rendered by noncredentialed providers. On many occasions, the doctors were traveling outside of the United States at the time the patient received the treatment. Under the settlement, they will pay a total of $600,000.
