Doctor Who Falsely Diagnosed Patients Sentenced

Arthritis

Rheumatologist Jorge Zamora-Quezada was sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to forfeit more than $28 million for a health care fraud scheme in which he falsely diagnosed his patients with rheumatoid arthritis and administered toxic medications.
