Callers Claim to be from Medicare

Janice Welenc was bewildered when she received two knee braces and a back brace in the mail. Then she remembered having a phone conversation with someone claiming to be a “Medicare representative.” Her husband, William Laberis, talked with callers who told him he would soon be receiving a plastic Medicare card to replace his paper one.
