Woman Gives Medicare Number to Unknown Caller

A caller who claimed to be with Medicare wanted a beneficiary to verify her Medicare number, so she gave it. The caller knew her health history. Then she thought it might be a scam. The SMP said that Medicare will not call to ask for your Medicare number because they already have it. Watch and read a story from KCCI.
